Trip to Malnad

On Independence-day holidays, me and my friends(Vyas,Manoj and Anand) decided to go mallenaadu [rainy place], also called as malnad (udupi, shimoga,Uttar Kannada,Dakshina Kannada districts comes under malnad)

and the trip was really adventurous with this year's full swing monsoon in malnad.

there is lot to write, but let me tell you what we did in few words, hmm august 12th morning we started from bangalore, we took shimoga route and then touched aynur, thirtha-halli then Agumbe and finally night 8pm we reached Adreno's farmhouse in hebri.

oh god, Agumbe was like heaven with that fog and rain. Agumbe has the reputation of being the wettest place in southern India and also Shankar nags Malgudi-Days was shot here in agumbe.

13th august, we did trekking in Someshwara wildlife sanctury in hebri, it was 5-5KM trekking. did trekking till koodlu thirtha water falls and returned to camp in the evening. i guess everyone donated enough blood to leaches...:), good thing we did was we were wearing shorts/chappals instead of jeans/shoes, this helped us to find leaches and throw them faster...

14th august we did rafting in sita river, hebri again after 2 years, hmm this requires lot of energy than trekking, trekking day itself we were tired and after rafting hmm cant tell.. still it was super adventurous...

photos of rafting is here

after rafting we headed towards Manoj's house in Sagar and reached his house around 2am in the night, took rest and in morning we had superb/rich breakfast prepared by his mom (malnad people are actually famous for their hospitality) and then we went to see Jog falls.

Jog falls was wearing a super cool look with heavy discharge of water from linganmakki dam and It was a good view to see so much water there after many long years...

after all this adventurous stuff I went to my native place Bhadravathi and friends are back to bangalore.

Corporate

yahaan sabko sab istemaal kar rahe hai
meethi meethi chhuri se halaal kar rahe hai
dikhaate hai aaisa nihaal kar rahe hai
nna puchho ke kya kya kamaal kar rahe hai
corporate .. world

This is lyrics of Corporate movie song and i guess this lyrics only tells the story of the movie and also everything about real corporate life.

Well, today I went to this movie with some expectation, but the movie was better than what was expected. Madhur bhandarkar, Bipasha and KK has done wonderful job in this movie, it is Madhur bhandarkar type movie like PAGE3, Chandini bar, etc. less masala, real story, no non-sense!

Story is very nice, he covered how real corporate world is, but he is able to show only how top management works(in india) and how business deals happen etc, i think he should come-up with one more movie called corporate-part II and he should show how the middle management works in companies and for story he can catch one of the bangalore based service company employee, it will be more interesting than what he shown in his movie.

It is nice to watch the same stuff in reel, which we have seen in real.

anyway It was good, worth spending 3hrs!

You know you can listen to any PDF instead of reading ,yes it is possible after Adobe Reader 6.0 ,the short cut is

ctrl+shift+b -to hear the entire Document (Menu - view -> Read out Loud -> Read to the End Of Document)
ctrl+shift+v -to hear the page (Menu - view -> Read out Loud -> Read This Page)

If it is not convinient to hear, because the voice is very fast, u can adjust that using the Voice Speed -> slow adjustment in the Control Panel/speech.

No One Knows Who I Am

Here is the lyrics of Song "No One Knows Who I Am" and I guess its not required to mention why I am posting it here..

Look at me,
And tell me who I am.
Why I am
What I am.

Call me a fool,
And it's true I am.
I don't know
Who I am.

It's such a shame,
I'm such a sham.
No one knows
Who I am.

Am I the face of the future?
Am I the face of the past?
Am I the one who must finish last?

Look at me,
And tell me who I am,
Why I am
What I am.

Will I survive?
Who will give a damn,
If no one knows
Who I am?

Nobody knows -
Not even you -
No one knows who I am...

Unusual trip to Nandi hills

Nandi hills, it is 65 km away from Bangalore and a superb place to visit in night...

Few weeks back, we finished our regular weekend session in one of the Mysore road dhabha and we all friends about to go home and suddenly one of my friend said, I dont feel like going home and lets go somewhere, its mid-night (12:45 AM) and u all know in bangalore most of the places closes by 11:00 (read door closes n activities continue..) and question was where to go?

And then we decided to go to Nandi hills and reached that place by 3:30AM (it takes hardly 45 minutes to reach there, but we stopped at many places, so took more time), believe me it is a nice place to go in night, it is cool and u r 1455 mts above the sea level, interestingly it was also crowded with college folks and also there were some families with kids and all... we waited till morning 6 to get sun-rise view and then packed-off from that place and reached home by 7:30.

ha.. it is not advisable to go in night for families and it is safe only for people who go in group.
